I Give 'Em Too Much Credit

Son of a bitch.
I feel like I should have won my second MTT tonight. Down to 3 and I had a healthy stack. I also felt like I was the best player left (and in the whole fucking tournament for that matter.)
But on player impressed me early, and is also in the top 3.
Lindy.
He has respected my raises, and I his. We've gotten into some small pots, but nothing to make me believe that he's at least a half-blooded donk.

I would be proven wrong.

I don't agree with your all-in here. Maximum in this case should have been a raise to 10K. That would have let you feel how strong he was and still give you enough chips to survive the 7.5 K stack (possibly) for 2nd. There were WAY to many over cards to worry about without even seeing a flop. I understand your frustration, but you are the one that pushed on a coin flip that put your tournament life at risk. Think about that next time. At least you could have made him play post-flop.

Your saying lindy11 is a half blooded donk because he called your all in bet preflop? With KQ?

had you called, or reraised ( without an all in ) good chance he might have put you on an Ace, and you might have out played him post flop.

He had you covered, and would still be in the tourney with 2nd in chips had he lost.. no reason for him not to call.

MrGoss, you make a good point.
Slayre, you do not.
He figures to be behind. And the price is awful. You call when yu might be behind if you're getting like 2:1.
Calling is a huge chunk of his chips. There's no way that's not an insta-muck.
